For the last few weeks I’ve been talking to many community organizations and businesses about the value of taking part in The Word On The Street as exhibitors and sponsors, and am thrilled with the positive responses and comments about the 2011 Festival and the Library in general. I believe that our Public Library here truly serves as a ‘hub’ for our community and that eventually everyone, from babies to grannies and from all walks of life, is impacted in some way through the Library programs and services.
I’ll be posting lots more over the coming weeks, but for today I want to express our sincere appreciation to TD Bank for supporting us again this year. It’s wonderful to have such amazing supporters willing to contribute time, money and volunteer hours towards the authors, musicians, programming and all the fun happening September 23rd.
